LABAH maintsreams Community Seed Systems (CoSS) through Agricultural Heritage Systems of various ethnic communities in Borneo.
The CoSS specifically promotes the traditional practices of seed saving, exchange and sharing.
LABAH empowers the Lun Bawang communities in Long Semadoh and Ba'Kelalan in Sarawak and the Lundayeh communities in Sabah, recognizing their unique farming practices that are intricately woven into their adat, culture and food traditions.

Community Activities
Through collaborative and participatory actions, LABAH is designed to engage directly with local communities and relevant stakeholders in Long Pa'Sia, Long Semadoh and Ba'Kelalan through 5 main activities:
- Continuous Stakeholder Consultations/FPIC Compliance
- Focus Group Discussion (FGD)
- Key Informant Interviews (KII)
- Training in Participatory Action Research (PAR)
- Capacity Building and Knowledge Exchange Workshops
