Capacity Sharing, Advocacy, Networking and Participatory Action Research (PAR) in promoting citizen science through Living Agroecology. - science, practice and social movement.
Community Seed Systems (CoSS)
Heirloom seeds, local agrobiodiversity and natural resources as the foundation of people-centered and landscape-based food sovereignty and food security for resilient food systems.
Agricultural Heritage Systems (AHS)
Living heritage systems of indigenous communities that nurture synergistic and symbiotic inter-relational webs with their natural landscapes and surroundings. The AHS demonstrates a resilient food system built through agrobiodiversity, traditional knowledge, adat, cultures, landscapes and sustainable natural resource management by the indigenous communities in ways that support their livelihoods and way of life, as recongnized under the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) Program by the UN-FAO.
LABAH promotes a community-centered alternative for sustainable livelihoods the the ethnic communities of the Lun Bawang and the Lundayeh at the Heart of Borneo Highland Territiories.

Agroecology Workshop: Seeds, Natural Resources & Indigenous Knowledge on5 Mar 2026 @Ba'Kelalan, Lawas (Sarawak).More than 30 farmers, women and youth participated in the 1-day workshop organized by SRI-Mas and L.A.B.A.H collaborative partners: Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

- LABAH Community Events in March 2026FPIC and Stakeholder Consultation The event is conducted to engage the community-based decision-making processes in the three LABAH territories. Location 1: Ba'Kelalan in Lawas, Sarawak. Location 2: Long Semadoh in Lawas, Sarawak. Location 3: Long Pa'Sia in Sepitang, Sabah.
- SRI practices in Long SemadohSystem of Rice Intensification (SRI) is practiced by a small number of rice farmers in Long Semadoh. These SRI farmers apply the principles of SRI alongside others who continue with their traditional way of paddy planting.
