Agricultural Heritage Systems (AHS)

Living heritage systems of indigenous communities that nurture synergistic and symbiotic inter-relational webs with their natural landscapes and surroundings. The AHS demonstrates a resilient food system built through agrobiodiversity, traditional knowledge, adat, cultures, landscapes and sustainable natural resource management by the indigenous communities in ways that support their livelihoods and way of life, as recongnized under the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) Program by the UN-FAO.

LABAH promotes a community-centered alternative for sustainable livelihoods the the ethnic communities of the Lun Bawang and the Lundayeh at the Heart of Borneo Highland Territiories.
