Living Agroecology Borneo Agricultural Heritage - LABAH, is a project implemented by the Malaysian Agroecology Society (SRI-Mas) through collaborative actions supported by the Agroecology Fund (AEF).
The acronym 'L.A.B.A.H' is symbolically chosen to associate the project with the word "labah-labah" in Malay, which means spider. In the paddy systems, spiders function as natural biological control agents, acting as predators to various types of insect pests, thus playing an important role in maintaining ecological balance and helping to reduce crop damage.
